Yesterday Scott and Kaara and I basked in the icy sun and took apart our dear friend the Art Swap Shanty.

THANKS so much to all who joined us on the ice.  There was more swapping than we ever dreamed of and we loved it!

As the week goes on I'll be posting the remaining swap photos, we'll be taking the shanty down (alas!) and I'll also be posting stories and tales from the shanty's run.  If you have a fun story about your art or the art you took home or your time at the Ice Art Swap, please email us and we'll post it!

It sure is.  Wow....what a super-fun fantastic run of swaps so far!  We are taking guesses on our facebook page as to what the final swap count will be--get your guess in (you can comment here, too) and we'll send a special Art Swap prize to the closest guesser!

This Saturday there will be some fresh snow on the giant hat, delicious soup from the Birchwood Cafe at the taxi stand, and tons and tons of last-weekend excitement.
